    But why isnt he talking about bluegens or SOFCs then? I know hes mad keen on renewables....

    Get on board Elon. You can power an IC car with NG at 30-35% efficiency versus say 50% (to 70%) with a bluegen linked to your DHW powered EV.

    The Germans for one appreciate gas and the role its efficient deployment plays in a renewable supply network.
