bluegens for sale!

Apparently BlueGens are conditionally for sale to the general public. Refer to Neco?s website.

    http://www.neco.com.au/index.php/fuel-cell/bluegenfaqs/

Cost $45,000 for a 2 year contract. A 3 year extension requires another $24,000. Obviously costs will need to come down to say $15,000 over 5 years before the general public would be interested.
The website indicates the large array of work CFU needs to do at all government levels to get favourable market conditions for BlueGen in Australia. Labour is currently reviewing their climate policy and it is rumoured that they will not be putting a price on carbon, rather supporting renewable and efficiency measures. Hopefully CFU?s lobbying will pay dividends in any new policy framework.

CFU is also developing integrated units with their appliance partners. It will be an interesting space to watch as it is likely that the first large volume order will be for integrated units to a European utility customer.

Apologies if this info has already been posted.
