Dit70 - this issue has been discussed over the last year a lot on HC - my view is that the matter has reached stalemate between the JV parties. H probably wants to buy Ags share but IG wants much more than H is prepared to pay ( possibly about $750m v $250m) so H has set about breaking Ags instead. This has reached a point where Ags wants the Court involved and so H may come up with an offer before the case is heard, if they think they will lose - or they may wait and see how they get on in Court and assess it from there. We may never get an offer and be condemned to a future with an abusive partner or we may get the right to dissolve the JV. I am only guessing but I haven't seen any sign that IG is softening his position so all us little guys can do is watch and hope. In the meantime I'm a conspiracy theorist on the share trading because I think there must be a better chance for Ags than is reflected in the the current price.
