I'd just like to say two things about tonights match.
Firstly, the first try by Qld (Thurston) didn't get the old "Keno-Replay" 200 times from forty diferent angles with Gus Gould and Peter Stirling disecting every which way the ball was grounded, passed or held. The reason is that it wasn't a try! 1. he (Thurston) was coming through on the burst and was in front of the kicker and 2. he knocked-on in goal with the tips of his fingers. The only replay the public saw was from a ground-level camera way over on the other side of the field.
Secondly, Pearce's pass to damn, I can't remember now, was not forward, as the good old "Keno Replay" showed, not just from the high staduim view, but from the aerial shot as well... as Gus said "NO,NO,NO,NO,NO.... that was not a forward pass" and he even had Rabbit and Stirling agreeing!!
Terrible performance by the referee's in my book. After Qld's second try I gave-in to the Mrs and we watched Oprah....
