At 2kw output I would have thought it's main target market was the average home.

Surely any 'organisation' / business of even a small stature would have higher power consumption?

I guess maybe a starbucks outlet might have that consumption with all the coffee machine at full tilt. Even then, they wouldn't buy one to increase profits. Merely out of green guilt due the popularity of the global warming lark. Not sure I would be a happy shareholder in Starbucks for example if they laid out $45k per store for these.

Have they articulated their target market and projected volumes clearly yet, and if so; how large is it, and how would those organizations justify the cost for 2KW output?

I have a mate who was dead keen to get one of these for a remote rural property power source until he heard they were going to be much more than the mooted $10k.
