Stoeger are you sure you are not still a short seller?
We all know that capital expenditure is not going to be as high in the next year or two as it was during the boom times. But the question for this stock is, should it have fallen by 80% in five months. I certainly believe the answer is no.
Everyone is talking about how much commodity prices have fallen. Yes, gold has fallen over the last year but it is still up 50% compared to five years ago and plenty of gold miners survived in those years.
Prices went a little crazy at the peak and they have come back but I don't think we should be thinking that mining is over.
I hold a good parcel of BLY and I am neither buying nor selling right now but I am much more inclined to come in and buy more than sell and particularly if it challenges 50c again.
