The chairman who stated that the motion I mentioned above was supposedly passed on a show of hands ... and stated that it was 'carried' even though not one hand was raised, is the same.
The director Angus Edgar is the same... the one who was, apparently unable to speak except through his lawyer.
The director Richard Stanger is the same.
A huge amount of work was done by a few members of HotCopper in order to try to protect shareholders, but there appears to be a strong element of apathy when it comes to these matters. If your shareholder base is rather blase and unwilling to voice their concern for a particular direction or motion when they have an opportunity to do so, then you can leave yourself vulnerable to the whims and at the mercy of a select number of potentially financially powerful individuals.
In this ice-cream factory, the number of flavours are increasing, but the cash cow isn't producing more milk, the flavours are being diluted and watered down, till all you are left with is a puddle.
I await the announcement of the newest flavour with little or no interest.
