F*** me. If that is the case, then $2240/t 5.2% FOB, really equates to probably $2500/t 6% CIF. My mind is absolutely blown…let’s just talk some real ball park figures below:
Plant 1 - 330ktpa, tied up in contracts say a conservative $500/t profit
Plant 2 - 200ktpa, sold on spot, average $1500/t profit
$465m profit/year, PE ratio of 20, market cap circa $9.4b compared to where we are today. I know very very broad brush strokes, but the above doesn’t even consider 1mtpa production, Posco downstream, Calix midstream. Holy moly, I need to sit down.
I for one will be having a drink tonight, all the pain and suffering seems to be worth it for this one, enjoy the ride.
