SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Investment and advisory firm Babcock & Brown Ltd. (BNB.AU) said Wednesday it has opened an office in the Netherlands as it continues to expand its European activities.
The office in Amsterdam will be led by recently appointed senior executive Rob Oudman and will be the firm's tenth office in Europe.
Oudman joins Babcock & Brown from BNP Paribas S.A (13110.FR) where he was head of corporate finance for the Netherlands.
"We are pleased to be establishing a presence in the Netherlands, a country with a strategic position in European business," said Martin Rey, head of Babcock & Brown's operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in a statement.
