If I told you nearly 30 years ago I made a million bucks in gold in 2 days and then lost it on day 3 it probably wouldn't inspire you, lol.

A true story and it kept be clear of gold and gold shares for a long time.

I have seen gold soar and yet gold shares plummet with every other share in a market debacle.

I am not a commodity expert nor any kind of expert, but gold itself seems hard to ignore.

Yes gold seemed overdone recently and my 65 week ma was busted briefly after it had worked from 2001.

I would seriously suggest that that ma is worthy as serious consideration yet, and that its temporary break was just a market game to discredit it.

So long as equities are discredited, I would suggest that the metal itself is a better bet than shares.

Others may have alternative views.
