1. 1.2bt inferred resource. low rank, low energy. Announced on 23 April, 2009.
2. coal seams of up to 7.2m Announced on 30 June, 2010
"Drilling in the south of EPC1149 is progressing extremely well. A number of drill holes have intercepted very thick coal seams of up to 7.2 m with only minor dirt partings at relatively shallow depths. ?Rapid thickening of the seams is a characteristic of this deposit that may eventually lead to a multipit approach to mining, feeding a centralised coal handling and processing plant? said Peter Tighe, Exploration Manager at East Energy. "
3. Encouraging results from bulk sample testing - 6,755 kcal/kg. Announced on 8 October, 2010.
?Float sink testing of the coal seam composites from the bulk sample, over a range of densities has shown that an SG of 1.6 gives the optimum balance between the final product quality and yield?, said Peter Tighe, Exploration Manager at East Energy. ?The test results of the washed coal (F1.60) composites are very encouraging. They show a yield of around 70% with an average calorific value of 6,755 kcal/kg on a dry ash free basis. It is low in sulphur, has low to medium ash and moderate moisture levels. The volatile content averages between 30% and 32%, typical of many Australian bituminous coals.?
4. Further 800mt would add to existing 1.2bt = 2bt Announced on 18 November, 2010
5. Update resource announcement by the end of April. Announced on 14 April, 2011. This update will give more details to value EER. The resource would be significantly increase and upgrade?!! Just my hope :)
