The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) has approved the Oil and Gas Development Plan for two proposed helium development wells (BBB 33 and BBB 34) at the Voyager project.
The BBB 33 and 34 wells will be drilled as offset development wells to the BBB#1 helium discovery and are expected to produce into the planned Voyager processing facility, targeted for first helium product gas output during the second half 2023.
Voyager will be the Company’s first discovery to be put on production with the Galactica/Pegasus discoveries also being advanced.Today’s development well approval at Voyager comes after Blue Star Helium
(ASX:BNL) added four approved wells to its list of development well locations in early January and received COGCC approval to carry out drilling at the Galactica/ Pegasus project in Colorado.
The Galactica/Pegasus development is a larger-scale project with multiple potential product streams.Further engineering and market work is underway to refine the initial planned development configuration and forecast helium and CO2 production and cost estimates.
