My understanding of The Philipines banking system is that it's a mish mash of different platforms and relationships. There is no one overriding infrastructure like there is in Australia. Paying your bills on the internet is a new thing. Look how PIL have added billers piece by piece to provide a more complete service.
Can PIL expand it's platform to the point it becomes ubiquitous in The Philippines.... where most buyers and sellers.... have an account...... ?
That would be a game changer.
In more mature market that would be like taking on CBA..... but not in The Philippines.
