yes they're happy because they pay for things they can't afford and stop using it once they fall behind in repayments. check out the repeat % and increase of bad debt. you're also correct saying retailers will die... because of the high costs of offering bnpl. restaurants see massive increase in turnover n orders from ubereats but going under faster than ever because they can't sustain the high fees . higher sales doesn't mean more profit lad. Zip = all time high volumes = more debt vs revenue
