I think you are misrepresenting what the article is saying. I know a bit about this.
At no point has anyone said they are stopping consumer fees in bnpl.
The regulatory framework will be done in consultation with these companies over the next 6 months.
In terms of crypto. 1.5 % purchase fees , withdrawal fees and transfer fees. I believe we need regulation.
People hiding from the tax man in their own digital wallets may find the tax man come knocking going forward
