The management of Bulletin has been first rate in every way. Through their patience, good temperament, proactivity and genuine cooperation and compliance with the authorities. The job of the DMIRS is to evaluate each project proposal based on the specific set mandated criteria and provide in good faith opportunity for applicants to demonstrate the meeting of that criteria. They do not have any intent in their mandate or otherwise to make things difficult, to discourage or block any genuine proposals that benefit the government and ultimately the taxpayer through the progressing of sound and thorough mining proposals.

This is the(pdf) application from just about a year ago, just as our cockatoo friends brought the speed hump in for their enjoyment, by the way (let me digress just a little)- I had a garden of sunflowers, it took a long time for them to grow but when they finally opened up they were beautiful until, true story, a band of yellow crested cockatoos feasted on them eating all the seeds (face) and even chomping on the heads of the plants, some didn’t survive and others now grow facing down sad looking as if trying to shield themselves from further attacks-yet they still stand and survive, hopefully they will return to their normal posture one day, proud and upright facing the sun as they were meant to be. Fortunately the bandit cockatoos haven’t returned, they’ve run amuck and moved on. Just like our other cockatoo friends that will move on to something else soon.

The point that I’m making is that if you go to page 8 you will see a diagram of how minimalistic and non-invasive this mining proposals is. Further on page 10 (3.1.2)it reads (direct quote);

“Historically the northern portion of the Cocanarup Timber Reserve has been managed for timber cutting by the former Forests Department and subsequently by the former Department of Conservation and Land Management, now the DBCA. The existing land use of within the Project Area is public open space as per the local Town Planning Scheme.

Previous exploration of lithium has occurred adjacent to, and within the Project Area.Land use within the project area is proposed to below-impact and temporary exploration drilling. Following drilling activities the disturbed areas will be subject to rehabilitation, subject to DMIRS requirements.”

You canread how thorough, thought out and considerate this application is with respect to the environment.


Now let me juxtapose this with the following link which I found that sheds light on our cockatoo friends and how superficial, spiteful,and scatterbrained they are.

You would think that this would be a first graders project in so called ‘disruptive’ citizenship- a false understanding of self-righteous freedom which involves gaming the system to pursue a whimsical gripe against perceived enemies of their agenda of the day. Think about how hard our Bulletin team have worked- humbly,diligently and faithfully not only to their shareholders but in satisfying the government authorities to the highest degree of aptitude.

After everything comes to pass, this (just like the sunflowers pointing up again) Bulletin will stand tall on its own merits and do justice to everyone who has faithfully followed through on this amazing project at ravensthorpe.
