The world's fears go through seasons. Some day much of the world will fear for it's energy supplies again, and as long as those supplies come through the Straits of Hormuz (all that Qatar LNG), or from Russia, that fear will persist with only brief respite (such as now).
Australia for LNG to Australia makes so much strategic as well as economic sense.
