Energy Investments – Board Changes
Diversified energy exploration and development company Energy Investments Limited (ASX: EIV) has announced the retirement of Board members Mr Shane
Doherty, Mr Peter Meagher and Mr Howard Dewhirst.
Mr Doherty, a director since November 2004 was instrumental in leading the company into the energy sector and following announcement last October of his
intention to retire has reduced his formally substantial shareholding in the company. Mr Doherty has retired and is pursuing a number of private investments.
Mr Peter Meagher, a non-executive director since February 2006 is Chairman of several listed companies and has retired due to his extensive other commitments.
Mr Howard Dewhirst joined the Board in October 2006 and has a long career as a consultant to oil & gas and CBM companies. Mr Dewhirst has resigned to pursue
consulting opportunities and will remain an adviser to the Company.
The Chairman, Mr Norm Zillman thanked the former directors on behalf of Shareholders for their respective contributions to the company’s growth.
