Did anyone notice that soon after the announcement came, the price was at 16c. Then, almost straight away, a fairly big seller came in selling stock at 15.5. Now, if it was simply a seller wanting to get rid of a share-holding, wouldn't you think you might try to maximise your price by waiting a bit to see if the positive announcement boosted the share price? Instead of that, this seller seemed to be wanting to make sure the price stayed low. To me, that's the sign of a seller trying to suppress prices by selling a smaller amount now in the hope they can buy a larger amount later on at a cheap price.

That sort of game playing might mean that things are afoot - and the board announcements make it seem like AVX is prepared to put itself up for sale. I think we can expect an interesting next few months.
