Negotiation of contracts following EOI likely take awhile with numerous parties involved. Contracts details may not be known before AGM in November. It is prudent to lodge 249D in September so it can be dealt with on same day as AGM in November. Shareholders may then exercise choice at the AGM as to whether Salary Strike needs be followed by actioning 249D. If shareholders decide declaration of annual dividend equivalents of 2c is all that they require the 249D could then be withfrawn.
