I was just looking at the profile on Linked in of Tim Ebbeck. I don't think a guy like this would risk his reputation by agreeing to join the board of ORX / Novio if he thought it was going nowhere ....
Its no guarantee of success but it's a better start than other tech start ups thats for sure. This one might even have legs
