Last post for me...its been fun. Traded this about 20 times in an objective tech based strategy and avoided this sort of garbage that people who fall in love create. Some of you guys practically got married to the idea of UMCs value. Specs are just Sl*ts. Get what you can and never put a ring on her unless she reforms. This stock never did. Kudos to the intelligence of the maket which also had a hard time getting her past a buck twenty (apart from the early 08 surge) No instos believed in her enough to reform her (and the board) and quite frankly I think your assumptions about the nature of the deposit must have been missing something because the end result is 130 cents. IMO you can get the balance of what you feel UMC didnt provide via at least 50 other specs out there... inside a healthy market.
