Not to mention they don't even need to cough onto the phone, they could easily just connect an external mic to the phone (tethered or untethered) if they feel coughing near the phone poses too much of a health risk. But honestly it's probably not even that big of a concern, as you mentioned hospitals are very used to cleaning their equipment as there's lots of things that are shared rather than single use. And if it was, we likely would've already have seen that issue being voiced by the hospitals that have participated with RAP. And in addition to that, RAP can easily just deploy the algorithms through other devices anyway, it doesn't HAVE to be a phone.
