IMHO Man those IAG directors are mental. IAG has been run like a donkey for years. They should have taken QBE's offer.
I think maybe some directors are a little worried of being out of a job. Who would hire these guys with the recent track record of IAG. Not exactly a ton of smart decisions made in recent times.
an acquintance of mine worked for them for years - every second month it seemed they were conducting internal restructuring. nobody every new what was coming next and many staff (inc managers spent most of their time looking over their shoulder ensuring they weren't the next to be shown the door rather then concentrating on getting the job done.)
