Forgive me for being a sceptic , but it appears to me that the organizers of the "assylum seeker travel company" have realised something.
They can cut costs by 50% and increase the number of assylum seekers by 100% just by going off the coast of Indonesia and sending out a distress call , then the good guy Australians send a Naval ship out to pick everyone up.
Boat only has to travel half way , double the turnover.
It is either that or an incredible coincidence that over the last number of weeks the number of distress calls has increased significantly (several per week) compared to the past year or more.
We are being taken for suckers IMO, so when is the government going to wake up and address this issue appropriately.
