Blackstone, I do remember the sponsorship idea being at least suggested if not implemented 6-12 months ago. That's fine for legitimate cases but the problem is the que jumpers and ones only coming here for financial reasons, those cases need to be stopped or at least have them pay their own way, not bludge off of our welfare system. 6 billion a year we spend on this problem, no wonder we can't balance a budget...
Those that make it to Indonesia are effectively safe from what they say they are fleeing from yet they get on boats and endanger themselves and their families lives to get here. Sort of makes you wonder if they are only seeking safety from what they claim or a financially better existence.
