    Being homeless in Australia is a choice...won't be soon, the way rents are going though.

    Some would just rather spend any money they get on their vice(s), so consider having somewhere to live 'optional'.

    Then you have mental health issues, which mean no amount of money will change their circumstances without having that addressed first.
