Glug - if an Aussie defrauds centrelink would you say we are being heartless to prosecute them?
Why is this any different? Sure it's not it's not illegal to claim asylum but it is illegal to get welfare under false pretences.
If you are going to have a bleeding heart then please reserve it for the most needy of refugees who are more likely to get the helping hand they so desperately need if we stop giving priority to those with thousands of dollars, expensive luggage and no ID.
And are our own homeless made to wait even longer for housing because of these wealthy (by comparison) intruders?
