    That’s good evidence, Rnie. Thanks. The difference in apparent separation can be due to perspective but I don’t think the mooring locations were in a straight line.

    The PWEP is still an R&D project and they are not going repeat anything without changing some parameters (w.r.t. unit 3), thus gaining new knowledge.

    There would be some phase difference between the passing swell and the corresponding movement of the buoy but this should not be great. (Seeking possible explanations for difference in tower heights.) If so, the tower height above water should vary a bit within one wave cycle. Should be able to estimate the actual height difference from BA onshore photos.
    Yes, if units #1 and #2 they are both working well then there would be greater benefit in having the full array of 3 in the water. Data gathered would include how well the units integrate to give a dc (constant) flow as well as figures on maximum flow rates. These are critically important even if they won’t tell us!

    CWE will presently also be collecting compelling information to justify funding applications in UK. It all takes lead time.
