Contract the job of stopping the boats to a professional civilian contractor staffed with the right kind of people...Blackwater, or whatever they call themselves this month would be fine. Then the Colonel, and the Admirals, don't have to worry about it. The Navy can get back to strategic issues... The contractors, can do what they have to do, the Australian government can give them the intel to do their job, or fund contractors to do provide it....I suggest in a couple months boats stop...particularly if the contracted company gets a bonus for ensuring no fake refugee boat lands on Australian soil.
