"At least(the MRRT) does raise a sensible tax, a wealth tax effectively, for this nation's future," he said.

So if its a wealth tax now, whats next after the mining sector? Banking sector? Retail sector? Wealthhy individuals?

Lets not forget the way this tax came about also. You wake up one day, and the goverment has decided on a new tax..........Bang. The goal posts can change overnight with this goverment.
