Can anyone point me towards some definitive research into how long our non renewable resources are expected to last?

I keep hearing about how all the easy to discover resources have been found.

Well if we tax our mining companies to the point they will seek "low hanging fruit" elsewhere where's the incentive for them to re-invest in Australia?

Modern technology can unlock many more previously overlooked resources so why is everyone "thinking small" as to how finite our resources are?

Does anyone seriously believe that we have significantly depleted our natural resources after only a couple of hundred years?

Make hay while the sun shines I say!

    Cheers all!
