Amazing on 7.30 report that Bob Brown says that if Australia increases exports of coal(refers to palmers new mine proposal) that the carbon produced from burning Australian export coal will wipe out all the gains from the carbon tax and solar rebate schemes.
So we should not have a new coal mine.
Not sure if bob has grasped the concept but if china does not burn australian coal they will burn some one else's
So by bobs own logic Australia's carbon tax will have no impact on world emissions
