Our carbon tax is meant to save about 30 million tonnes of CO2 per year but our increase in coal exports to China will add about 500 million tonnes a year.
Our pollies never did get maths.
The whole carbon tax idea is pointless. It will not achieve anything to do with climate but sure will make our economy less competitive.
