I don't think many people deny change is occurring
Whether it is natural or man made is the argument as you say.
The truth is usually in the middle. Silly comments like ' I saw it rain lots in London ' get over enthusiastic thumbs up from skeptics who think it's a valid point for either side.
As far as I can see the people that should know think there is a problem with human production of co2. This is what should be debated, not glib observations of the weather nor blaming every catastrophe on AGW or even a politicians point of view
By the time it becomes a certainty it could be too late
I would rather err on the side non extinction
