I think it is a good thing when there is a green member in the parliment to continually speak to the conscience of the public. That may help us to keep a balance in protecting our planet.......but when such idealists manage to be in a position where they can hold to ransom the practical decision making of a government then the whole nation can quickly be brought to ruin.

After the next election I would like to see just one or two greens in the parliment to be our social conscience so long as their votes don't count in the lawmaking of the country. A voice and not a vote is what we need from the Green party.

I am sure we will hear much more on this story in the coming days
