The issue we as voters face is that no matter who is elected to Govern, they will all pansy and virtue signal to the green left at some point.
Politicians all crave acceptance, very very few have a back bone or the guts to stand up for what they believe in. Some do stand out...Dutton attracts more than his share of haters because he stands up for what he believes in, which just happens to be what the majority of Australians believe in. As does Hanson, again attracts more than her share of haters due to her opinions and beliefs..
The kiddies leaving the safety cocoon of their school years will all have been preached the green left ideals as being normal...that to think otherwise is to be a lunatic and even an "extreme" right fanatic.
Check out what is happening in the US. One of the Democrat Presidential Candidates is even calling for Donald Trump's Twitter account to be suspended and any speech, or effectively belief, that the left do not agree with should be banned from public display or utterance. She is actually calling on her Party to shut down free speech attacking their own Constitution.
Kids in US Universities are agitating to have ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency shut down, and they want to totally ban "Hate" speech..."Hate speech of course is defined as anything that they...the left disagree with.
We are seeing it here in Australia the left would much prefer to shut down discussion and any opinions they disagree with...even here on HC the serious left often resort to name calling and derogatory remarks about posters they do not even know...absolutely believing opposing opinions to theirs are not worth discussing, and those that hold those opinions are somehow a lesser person than their moralistic grandiose self.
I don't think it will be too long before the AlpBC get on the band wagon and limit what can be said or uttered on their, (our), programs.
Any opinion voiced that is not what the left believe in is being termed "Hate" speech. Yet the real haters and offenders are those that are calling out free speech as "Hate" speech...the left.
I do not think the future is very attractive at all....the left will I think eventually take control and turn Society upside down, bringing with them the Socialistic / Communistic type Governments they now crave. Maybe only then when their dreams crumble around them will they realise how foolish, short sighted and stupid they were to ban society of the right to free speech, and the right to have an opinion...
