Everyone in the bush uses Telstra Next G as it's the only service widely available.
And that is probably only because the government forces them to provide it.
Wireless broadband is OK if you are reasonably close to a tower (say within 10km) but it soon drops off with distance.
My satellite will drop out soon as there is a storm approaching and the signal gets lost while it is raining.
Dropouts of half an hour or so are common.
