Yeh i think thats a valid thought, FTX is a great example of the bad actors at play. I think digital payments was always coming though due to the tech we have, there was never any stopping it only a choice of direction, the future always comes.
Theres Bitcoin and then theres Crypto, theres a difference.
One way i look at it is like this...
The powers that be would never have developed Bitcoin because they can't control it, they would develop things like FTX and all the other dodgy coins, therefore i take the assumption that there has to be a counter power that be somewhere that developed Bitcoin, whoever that be also had the vision to do it first.
