Under the ASX laws I guess BOC did not have to announce that they had met today with Panguna Landowners and ABG president Mommis.
I wonder why this was not disclosed? Nothing material to report about a meeting only report if something comes out of the meeting?
I have posted on this forum a few times that I have felt this share was bubbling for a hike, only last week I hinted about turnover and how buyers meeting sellers rather than vice versa.
I ask again today, who would want to buy shares in a company thats mine has not been operational for over 2 decades??
Is something finally going to happen here, or another false hope?
I think there are now so many more positives and todays meeting might be the parties all meeting prior to meeting with a newly elected O'Neill Govt bearing in mind a JSB meeting was postponed until after the election by O'Neill.
This was the right thing to do as a deal with O'Neill was not going to stand up if he was not re elected.
I really feel Namah is the man to push the deal with O'Neill and he is close with Mommis and was recently honoured with a warrior chief status or something to that effect in bougainville after the former PM Somare said he was not even welcomed there.
A new day is dawning on bougainville, fresh people wanting transparency and co operation.
Namah will be the linch pin, O'Neill will need him and so will be willing to work on the BOC Agreement.
This meeting today I am sure was done so that the next JSB meeting is a more fruitful one with possibly some agreed terms between Panguna Landowners Association and BOC.
The only hold up will then be the new PNG Govt. I like the fact that a meeting was held today, it shows a willingness to cooperate and negotiate.
Remember these people were once at war.. Now they are in a meeting room.
This is truly exciting. It has to be the best news for BOC in years as it has not come from a bogus PM Somare, but from the people themselves, the landowners and BOC representative.
