a) stops me walking in and robbing banks,

b) Scares other people away allowing banks to run their business.

I think everyone knows my view..and that is the senior most management should retire from the active management role and concentrate on something else. You know, something they can do properly.

There should be no problem for the MD to stand around in a bath robe on a 20th floor hotel room in Singapore. The blocking shares work just as well when he is there as, well ..if he was on the moon.
