I am a bit of a fence sitter on this in that I have seen nothing that to me says the trials have started or not.
From my readings I feel they have, but to me there are grey areas.
In your post you have highlighted "the trial WILL require" but my thought here is that this part of the reply is generic, in that this is what they have sent to all enquiries.
I do however note that at the start of the reply they say
"The trial IS UNDERWAY and we are currently in the process of recruiting participants."
Whether this means it is underway in that they are recruiting and have done nothing else, or underway in that they have already got people on the trial and are still recruiting - no idea, but it just goes to show how when we all sit down and analyse something we can come up with different interpretations.
Hoping we get some clarity soon. I expect there will be some pretty fiery questions at the AGM.
