Yeah, most of these wealthy gurus are the same. Often very entertaining. Always have retrospective wisdom ..when in reality they have been:
a) plain lucky
b) have insider knowledge and influence
c) risk takers with considerable amounts of other peoples money ie they are massively leveraged with your cash and really dont give a **** if they lose it.
I once met a well known London hedge fund manager pre GFC and said " you must have a lot of stress managing billions.."
His response in best Michael Caine deadpan Cockney.." nah mate. Not my money is it? Worst case scenario ?..I lose my job. I'll get another one easy enough.. Imagine being a doc or pilot.. one mistake and your career is over and maybe in jail...mugs they are.."
Says it all about the whole finance circus.
