Boeing pleads guilty., page-4

So MANY problems Boeing is facing right now, from so many sides, in relation to so many problems .

No doubt someone has been making a list of areas that need attention - from most to least serious.

I expect - given that the only(?) recent aft pressure bulkhead issues reported in relation to 737s (MAX models) were back in August last year (thanks for sharing that @longreach ) https://www.flyingmag.com/extra-holes-drilled-in-737-max-pressure-bulkheads-boeing/ , that Boeing has already addressed that problem.

Therefore I think the current CVM app may not be a huge priority for it, nor attract much of the positive publicity it so desperately needs.

So what will it do?
I think it ought to approve the airworthiness of the sensors asap, and make a fuss about how it’s asked AEM to develop multiple new apps (including for new Boeings) but that will come down to big talk and no contracts.

After aporoval it may be up to the airlines to proceed with retrofitting the sensors to their eligible 737NGs according to their - was it five yearly - heavy maintenance schedule.

But maybe I am being overly unexcited
