This delay gives them a little breathing space as most airlines are not "furious" about production delays at either Boeing or Airbus late deliveries.
In addition, increased capacity at this time is not really needed.
By the time they recieve these aircraft the economy should have plateaud and forecasting will be far more accurate in general.
