MEL's permit areas are huge.
Commonsense says they were never going to extract CSG within or close to the urban areas of Casino, Lismore, Grafton and Kyogle ... so a 2km exclusion zone AROUND these areas shouldn't cause heartburn imo.
And, if finally a scientist/engineer is going to make recommendations based on fact/evidence then despite the 4-5 months to July, it may well be worth the wait.
Also, with wind out of greens sails these MEL threads have no real reason for continued greens incursons ... do they.
