bogan on 7.30 report saying cash less welfare card is not fair, bad. shes a single mum with 4 kids.... enough said. A great example of why government is right on this. Roll it out asap I say!
Gotta say that being one of 4 kids who lost their father when I was 4, in a time when women were involuntarily servile to male dominance, the lifestyle was less than desirable to say the least. Of course back then widowed and deserted mothers doing it tough were more admired for their fortitude than kicked in the teeth by the more fortunate. Other children's fathers would pull me aside over the years and in very few words remind me of my mother's courage and admiration ... I wonder if males still have the balls to do that kind of thing for children in the face of deprivation .....I doubt indulged politicians do.
I never got to buy anything at the school tuckshops, but in hindsight I never got fat and heart disease either .....FTW!
