    That doesn't contradict at all. It is as I said.

    The cores are not cold.
    Cooling water is circulating and cooling the hot cores to keep them stable and the water remains at 30-40C at atmospheric pressure. Take the cooling water away and the system heats up immediately. Some areas are hotter than others and some basement areas are too hot, humid and contaminated for work.

    The structural soundness of the cores are unknown, but they are (now) stable.

    If you are looking for completely cold cores without water circulation, you'll have to wait a couple of decades!

    I was never saying this is a great situation, but I do want to shine reality on silliness over boiling oceans.
