Hi RB, I understood where you were coming from regarding peoples' recollections of events. Even MH370 is now just so yesterday to some, isnt it?
I just couldnt help putting in an adverse plug on Saakashvilli, because I detested the man and what he did to his people in an attempt to benefit others.
I recollect most, if not all wars and conflicts occurring in the last 7+ decades, and none of them favourably. I particularly abhor unnecessary wars where they are for geo-political or geo-strategic gain, not defence. In general, the only people who seem to like the thought of war are those who havent been affected by one. Ooops, my soapbox just broke.
I wont arm-wrestle over what constitutes an invasion.....personally, I always took it as any
hostile incursion into another country. I didnt think time came into it.
