In regards to depth. 3/4/500 metres does seem a long way down for the uninituated, BHPs Leinster nickel operation is down around 1,500 metres, producing between 1% & 2% nickel, mostly deseminated ore with the massive sulphides contaminated with a high arsenic content, so with the excellent grades, very thick massive sulphides and a very easy mining system to come, depth will have minimal bearing on the future mining operation.
